Transition Services for Students with Learning Disabilities
Since the number of students with learning disabilities comprises the largest percentage (approximately 50%) of all individuals in special education (U.S. Department of Education, 2007), the need for special education governing the transition to adult life is a major concern for this population. The need for such services becomes more apparent as student with learning disabilities prepare for the adult world.
This issue of the LD Report focuses on transition services for students with learning disabilities.
