Diverse Learners and Intervention: A Review of Literature

This issue of NASET’s LD Report was written by Melissa Johnson. The need to support struggling readers is evident throughout research.  Within the context of struggling learners, there is also a need to address educational practices within an increasingly diverse student population.  This review of literature aims to provide information regarding Specific Learning Disabilities and the Response to Intervention process, as well as ways in which to support culturally and linguistically diverse learners.
