In this article for NASET’s Early Intervention Series the study titled “The Auditory Environment at Early Intervention Groups for Young Children With Hearing Loss: Signal to Noise Ratio, Background Noise, and Reverberation” investigates the acoustic conditions in early intervention (EI) group settings for young children with hearing loss. Conducted by Meijer et al. and published in Ear and Hearing in May–June 2025, the research focuses on measuring key auditory parameters—Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR), background noise levels, and reverberation times—in various EI group environments.
