Cornerstones of Care - Gillis Campus School

About Cornerstones of Care - Gillis Campus School:

The Cornerstones of Care – Gillis Campus School gives students and families the skills they need to succeed in the classroom. Academic programming began 40 years ago and has evolved to serve students who require an intensive combination of special education and therapy services. Children and youth are referred from numerous school districts in Missouri and Kansas. The program provides individualized curriculum, small class sizes, and a variety of therapeutic options for students, ages 5-21 in grades K-12. Students acquire coping skills and new learning strategies that allow them to progress academically, socially, emotionally and behaviorally to help them successfully transition back to their school district. Cornerstones of Care is certified in trauma-informed care by the Sanctuary Institute® and implements it’s philosophy throughout all programs, including the school.
