Raskob Learning Institute
Description
Raskob Day School and Learning Institute is a non-profit organization that serves the Bay Area community by providing services for students and adults with learning differences. The Institute is comprised of three Programs: the Day School, the Clinic and the Diagnostic Program.
Raskob Day School is a Comprehensive Academic Program that serves bright students with mild to moderate learning disabilities, grades 2-8. The Day School is a non-sectarian, private, designated Non-Public School (NPS), and is also Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) accredited. The Clinic Program offers 1:1 Educational Therapy for students and adults, and the Diagnostic Program offers comprehensive neuropsychological assessment and evaluation for children and adults.
Students/Disabilities Served:
Raskob is committed to serving bright children with mild/moderate language-based learning disabilities in grades 2-8, ages 7-14.. This may include, but is not limited to: dyslexia, executive function disorders, processing deficits (slow processing, auditory or visual processing), ADHD, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and/or working memory deficits. Raskob's Day School program is not appropriate for students with intellectual disability, significant emotional or behavioral needs, or students on the Autism spectrum.
Services Provided:
Services available on site are Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Educational Therapy, and facilitated social skills groups. These are offered at an additional cost to tuition, and is through the direct service provider.
