Description:

The Teacher position is responsible for the planning, organization and implementation of an appropriate instructional program, in an elementary or secondary virtual learning environment, that encourages students to develop and fulfill their full academic potential, in accordance with the school’s vision and mission.  An appropriate instructional program includes academic instruction that is aligned to state standards, and includes appropriate interventions to improve student learning.  Work is performed under the supervision of the academic program Principal.

Requirements:

• Valid Pennsylvania Special Education Teaching Certification required

• Prior teaching experience required; online experience a plus

• Prior working knowledge of PA Virtual software, systems, policies and procedures a plus (not required)

Full-Time Salary Scale:

• Bachelor’s Degree: $45,750

• Master’s Degree: $48,750 (proof as in an Official Transcript will need to be provided)

• Master’s +15: $50,250 (proof as in an Official Transcript will need to be provided)
