Position Summary:

This role specifically is for Special Education - Elementary Teacher but we also have a variety of Special Education teaching positions. In this position, you will create long-range and daily lesson plans to implement high quality, standards-based instruction for all students aligned to the Nevada Pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K) Standards and the Early Learning Guidelines (ELG) and the Nevada Educator Performance Framework (NEPF). The teacher will create and maintain a culturally responsive educational atmosphere that encourages effective student learning and supports school and Clark County School District programs and goals.

Salary ranges from $50,115 to $101,251. You will be offered a $4,000 relocation reimbursement if you are moving from 100+ miles from the Clark County School District.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor's degree.

Licenses and Certifications:

Before starting, you will need to acquire a teaching license issued by the Nevada Department of Education. Don't worry, we can assist you in walking through that. It is typically a 1 month process. You will also need to complete separate background checks with both the Clark County School District and the Nevada Department of Education which can take about 1-2 months.

When applying for a certificated licensed position, candidates must meet the minimum qualifications as listed on the appropriate position vacancy announcement.
