Description:

We have multiple openings for Extensive Support Needs SPED teachers for next school year! Do you have experience with student populations with severe needs? I would love to chat with you regarding your experience and what you're looking for in your next position.

• Location: Santa Barbara, CA

• 37.5hrs/week

• Will take out of state SPED credential who applied for California

• Elementary through High School Opportunities

• Start date: August 2025

• $3,916 weekly gross ($2079/week in stipends and $1837/week in taxable)

Minimum Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred

• Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations

• Minimum of one year experience in teaching environment preferred

• State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Elementary Teaching preferred

• State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Secondary Teaching preferred

• State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Special Teaching preferred

• Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
