BCIEP Program Overview

We will provide you with comprehensive, professional development in all areas of Individualized Education Programs (IEP).

This practical, step-by-step certification assists educators, parents, and state and local educational agencies in implementing the requirements of Part B of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) regarding IEPs for children with disabilities, including preschool-aged children. The Board Certification in IEP Development is divided into two sections.

Section 1: Covers all federal guidelines and mandated requirements for IEPs under IDEA.

Section 2: Focuses on the practical knowledge you will need to develop, write, and implement an effective IEP.

BCIEP provides you with many areas of study. Upon successful completion, you will understand how to…

  • Determine what must be included in an IEP.
  • Identify present levels of educational performance (PLEP)
