TRIVIA QUESTION OF THE WEEK

Congratulations to

Names Sara Parsons, Nicole Wells, Prahbhjot Malhi, Rebekah Budziszewski, and Cindi Maurice who all knew the answer to last week's trivia question:

According to the latest federal education data, in 2021-22, what was the most common IDEA disability classification of children receiving special education services? (about a third of students (32%) receiving services under IDEA had this disability classification on their IEP).

Answer: SPECIFIC LEARNING DISABILTY

This week's trivia question:

TRUE OR FALSE: According to the Pew Research Center, which collected data from the National Center for Education Statistics for a report on students in special education, the number of students in special education in the United States has doubled over the past four decades, creating a rising share of public school children who need special education services.

If you know the answer to this week's trivia questions, email it to us at contactus@naset.org by August 21st, 2023. If you are correct, you will be acknowledged in next week's NASET's Week in Review
