Scoot Education is seeking Special Education Teachers to help fill essential roles in schools across Texas. We have partnered with a wide-range of campuses and, as a result, can offer a variety of different opportunities to our educators. Whether you are interested in 1:1, self-contained, resource, or otherwise, we can connect you to the right position.

Special Education Teacher positions are available:

• In multiple locations

• In various grade levels and classroom settings

• For different terms

• For the remainder of the 22-23 school year and the 23-24 school year

A successful Special Education Teacher:

• Is reliable, punctual, and professional

• Implements classroom management practices that are consistent with the culture of the school

• Is flexible and shows initiative especially in high-stress situations

• Facilitates lessons to meet student needs in the Least Restrictive Environment

• Collaborates with general education teachers to utilize appropriate methods of learning delivery and instruction

• Prepares daily summary reports for Lead Teacher

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university (required)

• Valid Texas Teaching Certificate and Special Education EC-12 certification (required)

• Satisfactory outcome of a background check (required)
