Scoot Education is seeking Special Education Teachers to help fill essential roles in schools across Texas. We have partnered with a wide-range of campuses and, as a result, can offer a variety of different opportunities to our educators. Whether you are interested in 1:1, self-contained, resource, or otherwise, we can connect you to the right position.
Special Education Teacher positions are available:
In multiple locations
In various grade levels and classroom settings
For different terms
For the remainder of the 22-23 school year and the 23-24 school year

A successful Special Education Teacher:
Is reliable, punctual, and professional
Implements classroom management practices that are consistent with the culture of the school
Is flexible and shows initiative especially in high-stress situations
Facilitates lessons to meet student needs in the Least Restrictive Environment
Collaborates with general education teachers to utilize appropriate methods of learning delivery and instruction
Prepares daily summary reports for Lead Teacher
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university (required)
Valid Texas Teaching Certificate and Special Education EC-12 certification (required)
Satisfactory outcome of a background check (required)
