Certificate of Merit for Excellence in Special Education
The NASET Certificate of Merit for Excellence in Special Education is an award given annually to schools that NASET members believe have exhibited excellence in the education of exceptional students.
The NASET Certificate of Merit for Excellence in Special Education is bestowed upon schools that have shown great dedication and commitment to the education of children with special needs.
Procedures for Recommendation
Nominations for this award should be submitted to NASET's Awards and Nominations Committee by using our online award nomination form (Click Here for Online Award Nomination Form). NASET's Awards and Nominations Committee will review all nomination applications and then determine its award recipients.
2010 Selection Process and Time Line
- May 1, 2010 Complete nominations due
- May 15, 2010 NASET Awards Committee reviews applications and selects recipients
- By May 30, 2010 NASET Award winners are notified
